1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PromptWorld ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, and your continued use constitutes acceptance of any changes.

These Terms apply to all users, including visitors, registered users, and contributors. If you use PromptWorld on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use PromptWorld. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or guardian. By using our Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these age requirements and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

3. Account Registration & Security

Your Responsibilities:

4. User Content & Intellectual Property

Your Content Ownership

You retain all ownership rights to content you create and upload to PromptWorld ("Your Content"), including images, prompts, comments, and other materials. We do not claim ownership of Your Content.

License Grant to PromptWorld

By uploading content to PromptWorld, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, modify, and distribute Your Content solely for the purpose of:

  • Operating and providing the Service
  • Displaying your content to other users
  • Creating thumbnails and previews
  • Promoting PromptWorld (e.g., showcasing community content in marketing materials)
  • Backing up and storing your content

This license exists only as long as you choose to keep your content on PromptWorld. If you delete content, we will remove it from public view, though cached copies may persist for a reasonable period.

Respect Others' Rights

You must have the right to upload all content you post. Do not upload content that infringes on copyrights, trademarks, patents, or other intellectual property rights of others. We respect intellectual property rights and will respond to valid DMCA takedown notices.

5. Prohibited Content & Conduct

To maintain a safe and respectful community, you agree NOT to upload, post, or share:

  • • Adult Content: Nudity, sexually explicit material, or pornography
  • • Hate Speech: Content that promotes hatred, violence, or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics
  • • Harassment: Bullying, threats, stalking, or intimidation of other users
  • • Violence & Gore: Graphic violence, gore, or disturbing imagery
  • • Illegal Activities: Content that promotes, facilitates, or depicts illegal activities
  • • Spam & Scams: Unsolicited advertising, phishing attempts, or fraudulent schemes
  • • Misinformation: Deliberately false or misleading information that could cause harm
  • • Private Information: Sharing others' personal information without consent (doxxing)
  • • Copyright Infringement: Content you don't have permission to use
  • • Malware: Viruses, malicious code, or harmful software

Prohibited Behavior

You also agree NOT to:

  • Impersonate other users, organizations, or PromptWorld staff
  • Manipulate engagement metrics (fake likes, followers, comments)
  • Scrape or harvest user data without permission
  • Interfere with the Service's functionality or security
  • Use automated tools (bots) without authorization
  • Create multiple accounts to evade bans or restrictions
  • Sell or commercialize access to the Service

6. Content Moderation

We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to:

  • Monitor and review user content for violations of these Terms
  • Remove or refuse to display content that violates these Terms or our policies

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PromptWorld and its founders, employees, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:

  • Your use or inability to use the Service
  • Unauthorized access to or alteration of your content
  • Statements or conduct of third parties on the Service
  • Any other matter related to the Service

9. Account Termination

Your Rights: You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon deletion, your public content will be removed, though cached copies may persist temporarily.

Our Rights: We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your account and access to the Service at our discretion, with or without notice, for violations of these Terms, suspicious activity, or any other reason we deem necessary. We may also terminate inactive accounts after prolonged periods of inactivity.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PromptWorld, its founders, employees, and partners from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms or any applicable laws.

We may modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email or through a prominent notice on the Service at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of PromptWorld after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you disagree with the changes, you must stop using the Service.

13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.

You and PromptWorld agree to resolve disputes through individual arbitration rather than class actions or jury trials, unless you opt out within 30 days of accepting these Terms by emailing us.

14. Miscellaneous

  • Entire Agreement: These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and PromptWorld
  • Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect
  • No Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of that right
  • Assignment: You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them without restriction
